Florida State suffered its first loss of the 2025 season against the Virginia Cavaliers in double overtime by a score of 46-38. It was a disappointing showing from the Seminoles as the fan base wanted to see an undefeated matchup against arch-rival Miami.
Nonetheless, Doak Campbell Stadium at night will be electric for the Hurricanes, who are used to playing in front of 5,000 fans (kidding Miami fans... relax). College GameDay will blame the Seminoles' loss to Virginia on why they headed to Tuscaloosa for the Alabama-Vanderbilt matchup.
Personally, fans don't care about GameDay coming to Tallahassee, but the attention from the general population would have been nice to have.
