Florida State football had one of the worst offenses in college football last season. The Seminoles struggled to move the football, where they only scored 15.2 points per game. The sad part about it is that the program could almost double the total and still be an average offense.
Head football coach Mike Norvell knew that major changes had to occur with Florida State not living up to the standard that was set, which was to compete for conference and national championships. The Seminoles decided to make changes to their coaching staff, which included hiring former UCF head football coach Gus Malzahn to be their offensive coordinator.
