I realize that Florida State football had a difficult season in 2024, where they had a 2-10 record. However, the Seminoles are looking to bounce back massively. Head football coach Mike Norvell knew that major changes needed to be made to be competitive in the college football landscape.
Norvell was tasked with hiring pivotal assistant coaches that would allow him to work as more of a CEO type in a program that he hopes to get back on top. The offensive and defensive coordinator positions were filled with Gus Malzahn and Tony White.
One of my favorites was former Syracuse and Nebraska defensive coordinator Tony White because he brings a physical brand of football in the multiple 3-3-5 scheme.
