Quick hitter: Clemson outlasts FSU in back-and-forth

Florida State entered into today’s matchup vs. Clemson as a 9.5 point underdog, knowing that despite a down year for the Tigers it would be an uphill climb to pull off the upset in Death Valley.

The game, thought to be a defensive showdown, has had its fair share of offense early in the game. Clemson mainly rode the running ability of Will Shipley for most of its success, while Florida State used a combo of running prowess and freakish football happenings to find its points.

The highlight of the game was running back Lawrance Toafilli’s mind-blowing run after catch where he rolled over a Clemson defender to stay upright and score a 75-yard touchdown.
