Post-lottery NBA mock draft has FSU’s Mfiondu Kabengele as 1st-round pick of East’s top team

Tuesday night saw New Orleans secure the top pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, and while the Pelicans appear poised to snag Duke’s Zion Williamson with the top choice, a Seminole cager could also come off the board as a first-round selection.

SI.com ran a mock draft after the lottery concluded, and their Jeremy Woo has ’Nole power-forward Mfiondu Kabengele being chosen 30th, overall, by Milwaukee. Of course, the Bucks are drafting that low because they boast the best record in the Eastern Conference. The Deer have stormed their way to the Eastern Conference Finals, sweeping the eighth-seeded Detroit Pistons 4-0 before eliminating the fourth-seeded Boston Celtics 4-1.
