The Orange are coming to town at high noon on Saturday (ESPN2), with or without their best player Elijah Hughes. The junior hurt himself in warmups on Tuesday, and will likely be a gametime decision. Coach Boeheim can be as tight lipped about injuries as Leonard Hamilton, so unless Hughes doesn’t travel with the team I am guessing that this is all we are going to hear.
In his absence, Syracuse lost a close game at NC State. Boeheim doesn’t really trust his bench, so four players went at least 37 minutes and two played the whole game.
