Offensive Observations from FSU’s embarrassing loss to Miami

The last drive of Florida State’s game summed it up completely. Blackman entered the game for the first time and was subsequently sacked. The Seminoles’s drive ended shortly after Blackman attempted the Seminole’s first reception of more than 25 yards and it was intercepted. Florida State lost to Miami, 27-10.

Florida State’s first two drives were abysmal and a holding penalty on TE Tre’ McKitty ultimately killed the Seminoles’ drive and forced them to punt the ball away.

The Seminoles’ second drive was absolutely awful and two-straight penalties, an illegal formation (five men in the backfield) and holding (Tre’ McKitty again) pushed the Seminoles back to the FSU10.
