Luke Clanton made Florida State history on Wednesday, becoming the first Seminoles’ golfer to win two regional championships by finishing with a score of 15-under to top the field. The No. 11 Seminoles won the regional by nine strokes over No. 5 Ole Miss:
New Mexico was third, at 14-under.
By finishing in the top five, the Seminoles advance to its fifth-straight NCAA Men’s Golf Championship, which will be held in Carlsbad, California, from May 23-28 at the Omni La Casa Resort. FSU will make its 12th appearance in last 15 NCAA Championships.
