Noles News: FSU baseball sets school record for players drafted in opening three rounds

Florida State set a new record for players selected in the opening three rounds of the MLB Draft with Jamie Arnold (No. 11, Athletics), Alex Lodise (No. 60, Atlanta Braves), Cam Leiter (No. 65, Los Angeles Dodgers) and Max Williams (No. 78, Miami Marlins) all picked on Sunday:

From Tampa, Florida, Arnold is the 23rd first rounder in FSU history and the third in the last two years, joining James Tibbs III (13th overall) and Cam Smith (14th overall) in 2024. It’s the third time in school history that Florida State has had three or more first round draft picks in a two-year stretch, along with 1991-93 (two in 1992 and one in both 1991 and 1993) and 1994-95 (two in 1995 and one in 1994).
