Nole News: Florida State football returns home with a win, women’s soccer stays undefeated

It has been an interesting week for the Seminole faithful. Sod games to soccer, Noles in the Pro’s, and basketball season rounding the corner—there has been a little something for everyone in the world of FSU sports.

The Florida State Seminoles traveled to Chapel Hill last Saturday as heavy underdogs (three scores at one point) for the first time since 2009 when quarterback Christian Ponder led them to a 30-27 victory at Kenan Stadium. Lightning seemed to strike twice with quarterback Jordan Travis at the helm and the Tribe added some well-deserved landscaping to their sod cemetery, returning home following a 35-25 victory on the road.
