In the 16th minute Gloriana Villalobos received a ball from Kristina Lynch. Villalobos took a left footed shot from the top of the 18 yard box that went high and wide.
In the 20th minute Jaelin Howell slipped a pass to Deyna Castellanos at the top of the box. Castellanos took a couple of dribbles and fired a shot ticketed for the upper corner of the goal. Miami keeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce made an outstanding save getting a hand on it to redirect the ball away from the goal.
