No. 7 Florida State softball takes series from Louisville as Francik spins a shutout

Florida State softball won their Friday game against the Louisville, and fought off a comeback by the Cardinals. Now, they faced Brooke Gray again for UL, who kept the Seminoles off the board in game one, to give her team a chance.

Gray gave up two free passes to Michaela Edenfield and Jaysoni Beachum in the first inning, but that was all for the Seminoles baserunners.

On defense, Jazzy Francik got the start for FSU, after closing out the game a night prior. Francik was able to retire the side, capped off by a stellar defensive play by her outfield.
