No. 4 FSU softball game thread vs. Bethune Cookman: Friday approx. 2:30pm

(4) Florida State (51-8) will begin the NCAA tournament in Tallahassee against the MEAC champion Bethune Cookman Wildcats (26-29). The game is scheduled for 30 minutes after the conclusion of the opening game of the Tallahassee Regional between South Florida and South Carolina.

FSU is hosting its sixth straight regional and competing in its 20th straight NCAA tournament. Florida State has won 16 straight NCAA regional games. The Seminoles are 8-0 all-time against Bethune Cookman.

In advance of the tournament, eight Seminoles were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Southeast All-Region Teams. Meghan King, Carsyn Gordon, Elizabeth Mason and Dani Morgan were named to the first team.
