No. 22 Florida State (11-3, 2-0 ACC) defeated Wake Forest (4-9, 0-1 ACC) by a 73-61 score today in Tallahassee.

The first quarter started off tight. However, FSU was able to take a 12-7 lead with an 8-0 run that was sparked by a Ta’Niya Latson jumper. Wake had an answer though. The Deacons ended the quarter on a 6-0 run to take a 16-15 lead into the second quarter.
The second quarter was nip and tuck early but Florida State made a move midway through the quarter. The Noles hit Wake with a 13-3 run that was capped by a triple from Carla Viegas.
