Florida State edge rusher Jermaine Johnson II isn’t about to take a play or two off whether it’s in a game or during practice. Scan the field and you’re sure to see the 6-foot-5, 262-pound Johnson moving at breakneck speed toward the football.
Johnson is tied for second in the nation in sacks (11) and fifth in tackles for loss (16), making him one of the most indispensable pieces of the Seminoles’ defense.
“When your best players are your hardest workers, they can be an example of what it takes,” said coach Mike Norvell. “It’s huge for the young guys.
