Florida State football is taking on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the friendly confines of Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday, August 30th at 3:30 PM EST. It was announced that legendary College GameDay personality Lee Corso will be hanging up his headgear and riding off into the sunset.
Corso was a former Florida State Seminole player, where he played quarterback and cornerback from 1953 to 1957. He was the leader in career interceptions (14) until former cornerback Deion Sanders came in to tie the record at 14.
The "Sunshine Scooter" was someone who the fan base will always remember.
