One of the worst things affecting college football over the past couple of years is the ability for players to transfer without penalty. The other worst thing is the number of “agents” popping up out of nowhere to represent players. Some of the agents are legitimate, but there is no “requirement” that qualifies someone to fill the role. It can be a father, mom, 7-on-7 coach, someone’s uncle, etc.
The number of players getting terrible advice is appalling, and many college football players make grave mistakes when entering the transfer portal because they or the people around them are greedy.
