Wednesday afternoon, John Butler committed to Florida State, joining Bryce McGowens, Naheem McLeod, and Matthew Cleveland in the Class of 2021, which is now ranked 2nd nationally, behind only Villanova.
After his commitment, Butler spoke on the decision to choose Leonard Hamilton and Florida State:

Butler divulged that it was a really hard decision—his final six schools all possessed great facilities and coaching staffs, and they did a really good job building a relationship with him, making the decision that much more difficult.
