Florida State defensive end Jared Verse has his new home, as the Los Angeles selected the former Seminoles star with the No. 19 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
After transferring in from Albany in 2022, Verse made an instant impact for the Seminoles, racking up nine sacks and 48 tackles, including 17 for loss. He also blocked a field goal and forced a fumble. He was named a First Team All-American by The Athletic and First Team All-ACC.
Despite lofty projections in the NFL Draft following his first season in Tallahassee, he returned in 2023 to help lead Florida State to an undefeated regular season and ACC Championship.
