Former Nole great Jameis Winston participated in his first NFL pro bowl on Sunday night which put a nice ending to his rookie season in the NFL. The former #1 overall NFL draft pick threw two touchdowns on 6-12 passing for 113 yards.
Winston’s rookie season went about as well as one could ask for despite playing on a team that went (2-14) prior to his arrival. Winston helped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers improve to (6-10) with three of those losses coming via a touchdown or less, despite playing behind a weak offensive line and only one legitimate wide receiver in Mike Evans.
