Florida State football thought that they had a productive transfer portal haul last year at the wide receiver position, where they picked up Alabama's Malik Benson and LSU's Jalen Brown. I don't want to throw any shade, but both of them were expected to be productive members of the rotation.
Unfortunately, it collapsed just like the 2024 season when the Seminoles finished with a 2-10 season. Benson transferred to Oregon in the offseason to hopefully gain a better role for himself, and Brown was dismissed from the squad.
Head football coach Mike Norvell made several changes to the offseason, such as hiring former UCF coach Gus Malzahn to be the Seminoles' offensive coordinator.
