It was just three weeks ago when – and it’s not easy to write something like this, but – the FSU baseball team was clearly in a crisis mode after dropping yet another game to the rival Florida Gators, a loss to those in orange and blue that not only extended that losing streak but was reflective of where the Seminoles were going.
That loss, the 12th in the previous 18 games for the Seminoles on the diamond, dropped the Seminoles to 19-13 on the season and had the Noles wondering if they would be home watching the postseason for the first time in the 40 seasons under head coach Mike Martin – who is in his final season leading the FSU baseball program.
