Florida State completed the Early Signing Period with a record 32 signees on Wednesday. There was some thought that FSU could add another player or two between Wednesday and Friday, but they didn’t add to that total. It’s the largest prep signing class in Mike Norvell’s tenure.
The class ranks No. 14 nationally. Some of that ranking is quality, but it’s also the number of players signed, helping the overall ranking. The .8904 per player average ranks No. 20 nationally. However, FSU addressed every need they had, and the question is, will some of the projects develop into contributors?
