The Miami Hurricanes are making a switch at quarterback.
Ahead of Florida State taking on its rival inside Doak Campbell Stadium, it was reported then confirmed that quarterback Tyler Van Dyke has been benched in favor of true freshman Emory Williams.
Van Dyke has struggled in his last few starts, — over the course of the last four games, he’s committed 11 turnovers including three interceptions last week in a loss to NC State.
The start will give Williams his fifth apperance in a game in the 2023 season, burning his redshirt.
