I’ve been writing about FSU softball for years and have watched what Coach Lonni Alameda has with this program. They are a team that can win in a multitude of ways.
They don’t rely solely on home runs to score. They can hit for power and average and pressure teams with speed on the bases.
They have a deep pitching staff, with one of the best pitchers in the country, Kathryn Sandercock. Some folks believe it’s a foregone conclusion that Oklahoma will defeat FSU softball for the national title.
After all, Oklahoma has won a gazillion games in a row and defeated FSU 5-4 earlier this year on their home field.
