FSU softball (53-8) moved another game closer to the NCAA Women’s College World Series with a 12-1 destruction of South Florida in the Tallahassee regional.
The Noles have done a great job of putting pressure on teams by scoring early and Saturday was no different.
FSU softball scored one run in the first, but it was the top of the third inning that saw the onslaught begin.
Makinzy Herzog blasted a grand slam to put the Noles up 6-0, but that was just the beginning as the Noles surpassed 100 homeruns on the season as a team and now lead the nation.
