FSU softball earns a national seed in the NCAA Tournament

The Florida State Seminoles (46-9, 18-3 ACC) have earned the fifth national seed in the NCAA Softball Tournament. The Seminoles will host the Tallahassee Regional beginning on Friday, May, 16th. As a top eight seed the Noles will also host the Tallahassee Super Regional if they win the Tallahassee Regional.

The Seminoles are seeking to return to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City for the first time since 2023 when the third-seeded Noles fell in the Championship Series to top-seeded Oklahoma. The Seminoles will be making their 37th NCAA Tournament appearance and their 25th straight appearance.
