After a regular season where the FSU soccer team saw themselves seeded seventh in the ACC Tournament, the Lady Noles have gone into absolute beast mode in the last few weeks – winning three straight games to win the tournament before winning their first three games in the NCAA Tournament that included wins over two ranked teams.
After Friday, you can now make that FOUR straight wins in the NCAA tournament as the garnet and gold are again one of the final four teams standing in women’s soccer following a 1-0 victory over Penn State.
It was a first half that you would expect from two of the best teams left standing as the Nittany Lions out shot the Lady Noles 6-2 in the first 45 minutes with none of the shots finding the back of the net and keeping everything scoreless.
