FSU Soccer advances to College Cup Final: National Title game bound

The Florida State Seminoles Soccer team advances to the National Championship game - the Final of the College Cup! The ‘Noles played the Virginia Cavaliers in a very even game, finally winning out in penalties, clinching the game after three scored penalty kicks to none for Virginia.

Mark Krikorian and his ‘Noles advance to attempt to win their third national title. The Seminole women have been wildly successful under Krikorian, winning two national titles. The College Cup is like a second home for this team.

The penalty kick shootout is not how most fans want to see their team advance, but both teams were evenly matched and either team would have been hard served by this loss.
