After missing out on the ACC Kickoff media event last year due to the pandemic, Mike Norvell will get his first chance to represent Florida State in Charlotte in less than two weeks, bringing with him defensive end Jermaine Johson II and quarterbacks McKenzie Milton and Jordan Travis.
In 2019, FSU was represented by defensive tackle Marvin Wilson and wide receiver Tamorrion Terry.
The decision to bring along two transfers is unique, as well as bringing along both potential quarterback starters. The selections highlight a faith in the player’s ability to have a presence in front of the national media, as well as the impact that Norvell expects them to have on the season.
