Florida finished its 2025 season with a 5-7 record, losing to several teams with inferior rosters. A myriad of factors contributed to the second consecutive losing season. FSU improved in some areas on offense and defense. There were games where the defense let the offense down, and games where the offense let the defense down.
For whatever reason, FSU couldn’t find a way to play complementary football. Despite the defensive woes, the FSU offense stalled WAY too much and failed to put up points in too many games.
FSU scored 13 points against Stanford, 10 against Clemson, 11 against NC State, and 14 against Florida(the last touchdown was in garbage time).
