A young Florida State team found itself unable to rebound from its heartbreaking overtime loss to Notre Dame in the season opener. The emotionally exhausted Seminoles went out the following week and suffered a jarring loss to Jacksonville State on a last-second Hail Mary.
After yet another crushing loss, this time to host Clemson Saturday, FSU coach Mike Norvell believes his players have the maturity to be able to bounce back before facing another difficult challenge in NC State.
“It was a challenging first month but we got up, we responded and we pushed forward,” Norvell said Monday.
