FSU hopes Mike Norvell can finally get Seminoles back on track

When Florida State kicks off the 2020 football season, the Seminoles will do so hoping the program’s latest coaching change finally helps get them back on track.

FSU mostly thrived between 1987-2000. The Seminoles clinched the program’s third national championship title in 2013 and was on top of the college football world. But since then, the program has endured a decline capped by back-to-back losing seasons for the first time since 1975-76.

For a program accustomed to long-term coaching stability after Bobby Bowden led the Seminoles for 34 seasons, the recent turnover at the top is staggering.
