FSU hopes an infusion of transfer talent can spark a revolution at receiver

Florida State football’s heydays centered around offensive playmakers with plenty of athleticism and speed, capable of producing game-changing plays at the drop of a hat. Recently, those players have been far and few, particularly at wideout.

FSU has produced three 1,000-yard receivers since 2010 in Rashad Greene (2013-14), Kelvin Benjamin (2014) and Tamorrion Terry (2019). In the two seasons under Mike Norvell, the Seminoles top threat was wideout Ontaria Wilson, who accounted for 391 yards in 2020 and 382 yards in 2021.

In an effort to retool the position, Norvell and his coaching staff signed six prospects over the past two recruiting cycles.
