After arguably the best game of the season for the Seminoles in a come from behind, defense actually showing up win over the rival Miami Hurricanes, FSU football is back in the 850 this weekend for a homecoming showdown against the surprisingly 5-1 Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
Perhaps energized by their performance the week before, the defense forced a three and out on the first series and was able to get another punt on Wake’s second drive. FSU would get a big first play from Deondre Francois, nursing a sore shoulder, to Travis Rudolph – but would come up empty when Roberto Aguayo missed yet another field goal.
