FSU Football: Virginia Tech creates weak hype video for game vs. Noles

For the 37th time in the history of FSU football, the Seminoles will play a game against the Virginia Tech Hokies when the teams meet on Labor Day in the first meeting between the schools in a season opener. It’s a game that both teams know is beyond important if either one has any hopes of making it to the ACC title game this season.

While the teams have met just five times since the Hokies joined the ACC during the 2004 season, the Seminoles and Va. Tech were two of biggest name independent programs for years and have a history – meeting for 20 straight seasons between 1961 and 1980 and again for four straight seasons before FSU football joined the ACC in the 1992 season.
