FSU football lost its second consecutive game in as many weeks, a 28-22 loss against the rival Miami Hurricanes on Saturday night in prime time.
Miami led 28-3 at the beginning of the fourth quarter, and FSU scored 19 unanswered points to make the score look closer than the game actually was.
FSU received the ball first and moved the ball well on its first possession, settling for a field goal to take a 3-0 lead. The FSU defense forced a punt on Miami’s first offensive possession, giving the FSU offense an opportunity to put some major pressure on the Canes, but the Noles punted after getting one first down.
