The bye week for FSU football came at a perfect time for the Noles for several reasons. Most fans thought it was the perfect time for the FSU administration to fire Mike Norvell after an embarrassing loss against Stanford.
The other reason was that FSU was pretty banged up from an injury standpoint and needed the bye week so several players could nurse some nagging injuries and get closer to 100 percent healthy.
The latter is the only thing that’s happened so far, as FSU released its first Student-Athlete Availability Report on Thursday night. The Noles got favorable news with FSU quarterback Thomas Castellanos listed as probable, though that wasn’t a surprise, as we reported he was trending towards playing on Wednesday.
