FSU football: Punter Tommy Martin seizing opportunity to play

FSU football has been without its starting punter Logan Tyler the past two games.

Tyler has been suspended indefinitely pending an investigation from an incident that happened in August. He set the FSU record for number of punts and yardage as a junior last season.

However, you wouldn’t know he hasn’t been on the field with how well his replacement Tommy Martin has been punting.

Martin is quietly averaging nearly 43 yards per punt through two games. Most importantly, teams have only returned four of 18 punts for just two yards against the Noles.
