Bowl projections are fun for a few different reasons: possible road-trip ideas, the prospect of seeing different opponents, and, of course, the inherent estimation of a team’s coming season. Brett McMurphy recently dropped his own way-too-early 2019 bowl predictions, and it’s apparent that he’s not too high on Florida State.
McMurphy has the Seminoles playing in the Quick Lane Bowl, matching up against Michigan State in a de facto road game for the Seminoles at Ford Field in downtown Detroit. Last year, this game featured Minnesota and Georgia Tech in a contest dominated by the Gophers, who won 34-10.
