FSU football being ranked in the preseason go hand-in-hand like peanut butter and jelly. The Noles were ranked No. 19 coming off a 7-6 season in 2018.
FSU finished the 2017 season on a roll, winning four consecutive games including their bowl game which gave some optimism heading into 2018.
However, the 2018 season saw the Noles get blown out in six of seven losses, including a 41-14 loss to rival Florida in the season finale.
FSU received four votes in the Coaches Top 25 preseason poll released a couple of weeks back.
