FSU football got a late start on its 2019 recruiting class because Willie Taggart had to salvage the mess left by the prior staff.
That shouldn’t be the case with 2020 as FSU has already sent out 150 offers and will be hosting a number of recruits for its junior day going on Saturday.
Usually these players are invited by the staff and it’s a good opportunity for these players to meet the coaches, see the campus and meet with faculty from prospective programs they could choose as a major.
Recruiting is all about relationships and anytime you can get a prospect on campus it increases the probability of getting that prospect to commit.
