FSU football would be ranked No. 1 in the nation if football games were only one-quarter. In fact, 42 of their 76 points scored through two games have come in the first quarter.
When the offense is rolling it looks ridiculously easy, but when it’s not the offense can go three and out in less than a minute which isn’t good for the defense as they are struggling enough as it is.
If you look at the stats the Noles are light years better than last year offensively. It’s a small sample size and we’ll likely get a better indicator just how much they’ve improved when they play a good Virginia defense Saturday.
