Florida State football recruiting for the 2026 cycle has been a productive haul thus far, but the coaching staff, as well as the fan base, would like to acquire more high-caliber prospects to the fold for the future foundation of the program.
Our own Kelvin Hunt wrote about a five-star cornerback commit Chauncey Kennon putting his recruiting on for a four-star Miami defensive end commit Asharri Charles from Venice, Florida.
Kennon wasn't the only one trying to get Charles to come to Tallahassee as current cornerback Charles Lester III shared on his Instagram account, where he stated that the defensive end prospect "knew better from the start".
