Entering the 2015 season, it was all sitting their for the FSU football team: though they were humiliated in the inaugural College Football Playoff game the season before, they had won 39 of the previous 42 games played over the last three seasons with an ACC title each year to go along with the 2013 national title and making the playoff.
On top of that, the Seminoles had continued their recruiting dominance with the number three rated class in the country that year – a group that had 12 four or five star players that, on paper, were supposed to help the dominance continue.
