FSU football will be thin at the tight end position in 2020 as Tre McKitty announced he will be heading to the transfer portal as a graduate transfer.
That means he will be eligible to play immediately at wherever his next destination will be.
He was part of the last Jimbo Fisher class in 2017 and was thought to be a major get despite only being rated as a three-star recruit.
McKitty made the announcement via his Twitter account Thursday afternoon to the surprise of some fans.
This makes the news of 2020 three-star tight end Carter Boatwright enrolling early this spring even more important.
