FSU Football could be traveling far with new ACC bowl tie ins

In the history of the FSU football program, the Seminoles have traveled across the country and around the state of Florida to play in one of the 18 different bowl games that the Noles have played dating back to their first one after the 1949 season – the action packed Cigar Bowl win over Wofford down in Tampa.

Since then, the Noles have gone across the Sunshine State – taking part in the Orange, Gator and Tangerine Bowls over that span – while also taking part in classic games like the Fiesta, Rose and Sugar Bowls and even some of the mid-major games like the Music City, Emerald and even their most recent bowl game, the Independence Bowl.
