The FSU football coaching staff had to play catch up on the 2021 recruiting class after Mike Norvell was hired in early December.
The transition class put the staff behind, forcing them to spend more time on 2020 while other top programs moved onto 2021 recruits and beyond.
The temporary NCAA dead period has given the FSU staff time to prioritize its 2021 targets while continuing to evaluate new targets.
At the time same time, the coaching staff has been using the time wisely to begin evaluating and offering 2022 recruiting. They’ve sent out a string of new 2022 offers in the past couple of weeks.
