FSU football: 4-star defensive back Hunter Washington commits to Noles

FSU football coaches were looking for some recruiting momentum in its 2021 recruiting class. A blue-chip commitment might help with that.

FSU football recruiting had fallen to No. 49 in the 247 Composite Recruiting Rankings with five commitments and an average rating of 89.13 per player.

It’s not unchartered territory as they were ranked in the mid-60s’ at one point in late 2017 after Jimbo Fisher left and Willie Taggart took over.
