FSU football seems to be in limbo with its coaching search or either moving swiftly behind the scenes being very careful to speak through agents of currently coaching.
Hopefully it’s the latter as a coach currently coaching won’t just leave his team in the midst of a season.
That means FSU will likely not announce a hire until after the season unless Odell Haggins is promoted from within.
Either way, the FSU administration must have a concrete plan to avoid the pitfalls that Willie Taggart ran into when hired in December 2017.
FSU will be preparing for its bowl game which will give the new coach opportunity to assess the roster in terms of needs and cultural changes.
